Marriage Look up please - Houghton le Spring

Hi

Is anyone able to find the marriage details of William Kirtley, born
around 1800, and Jane Purvis - second son born 1839, so probably
early to mid 1830's.  William is listed as a Tailor on the census'.

Many KIRTLEY and PURVIS names in the ouse Marriage Index for HLS but none that match your quoted names.  The only JANE PURVIS married William HARDEN on 27 October 1792.

Thanx for looking up the marriage for me -
guessing that they didn't marry in Houghton - strange as they
are always listed there on the census' - perhaps Jane was from
a different place -
