I am looking for any information on any Vincent Fletcher born before 1900 in the Derbyshire county.

do you have any other information - there are about 10 Vincent Fletchers b Derbys bef 1900 - plus ones with middle names 
You could look on freeBMD for names and the 1881 census (free at family search) maybe that will help you decide which ones are of particular interest

Thanks for your reply.
I will narrow the search for now to all Vincent Fletchers born, married or died/buried before 1837 - I suppose I am really wanting any info I can't get from FreeBMD & all Census!

I have noted a Vincent Fletcher in my family line. He was born in 1861, son of William and Rebecca of Milltown, Ashover, Derbyshire.
Later, this Vincent had addresses at Holloway and Wensley. He married a Grace Henson. Grace already had two children and she and Vincent then had another two.
Any interest?

I don't have this Vincent on my tree at the moment but have tracked him on all the census apart from the 1901 - any ideas where he is?
Did Grace has re-marry? As she seems to be living with Thomas and her family in 1901 or was Thomas Vincent's middle name??

I have not looked any further for Vincent so far. Nor have I seen 'Thomas' as Vincent's alternative first name.
In the 1891 listing I have him as living at Wensley/South Darley with Grace, also two step-children, Joseph Thomas Henson (he was 14 in 1891) and Annie Elizabeth Henson.
Vincent and Grace had two other daughters, Mary Anne and Alice.
Could you tell me any more about the 'Thomas' who Grace was with in 1901 please?
Also - could you say whether the children are the same as the ones I have listed here?

Yes, it looks very much like the same group.
I will pursue the birth certificate of 'Vincent' and see whether 'Thomas' was his second given name.
