not sure how i came to that conclusion..think if had not written bits down on scraps of paper(now lost)hmmm i would have got this right 1st time..

back to the drawing board now...

where have you found this info...sorry to sound so incapable..have just checked records on genes reunited and can't find a henry joseph being born...Huh Cry

The deaths are from the full GRO index (not Free BMD).

I can't spot an obvious birth for Henry either, so perhaps he wasn't born in England?  I'll have a proper look at the censuses later - I'm out for the afternoon now.   Wink

ah-ha...right have found a henry joseph born same date married ada..

it's on an irish family tracing site but alas the persons email is no longer in use..

he was born in oldcastle co.meath..

how on earth do i start to research that..??

can anyone advise me how to look for my gt grandfather henry Joseph mcginn?
born 5th June 1886 oldcastle co.meath    died 1969 in falmouth

he married an Ada merrifield 1910 and had 1st son George henry Arthur mcginn 17/05/1911
