I have located the burial of Thomas Linnell 11th October 1815, Heyford St. Peter and St. Paul.
When he made his will in May 1815 he was living Glasthorpe Grounds, not too far from Heyford, where his daughter was living, so am confident this is the burial for the Thomas Linnell I've been seeking for a number of years.
Have Memorial Inscriptions been transcribed for this church?
Kind regards Susan

Hi Susan
It does not look like the N.F.H.S. have them listed yet.

Yet looking through my grave photographs I seem to have the stone although it is not very clear.
At the start of the row to show what condition most of them are in.

Wow Sandy, what can I say, that's fantastic, thank you
Thomas and Mary were my 5 x great grandparents. Have been looking for the burial place for quite a while, it was only going through the Linnell burials in the NBI that I found this one and wondered, I had been concentrating on Flore, as Glasthorpe was in that parish.
Can I be cheeky and ask if you have the headstones for his daughter and her husband?
Elizabeth Collins burial 10th February 1836 Heyford Thomas Collins burial 24th July 1849
Kind regards Susan

Sacred to the Memory of THOMAS LINNELL who departed this life October th? 1815 aged 70 Also Mary the widow of Thomas Linnell who died Aug 30th 1811 AGED 61
Please do not quote me on the inscription.
I am afraid there is no stone I can see for any Collins.

Hi Sandy
Have found Mary's burial in freeREG transcripts - 5th September 1811, Heyford. So that ties in with your reading of the inscription.
Thank you
Susan

I also had the other headstone you asked about, yet could not read it clearer until today.
It is in a very bad condition.
I managed to make out
Sacred To ? Memory ___________________ ? COLLINS DIED JULY 19th 1849 AGED 86 YEARS ALSO ELIZABETH COLLINS ? of the above WHO DIED FEB 10 1836 AGED 67 YEARS
I also went upto the Cemetery and saw some more stones for the surnames Collins if you want the inscriptions I will list here for you.
