Does anyone have a copy of/ or access to this Religious census?    It's in a volume of the Irish Ancestor but I can't find it anywhere

Thank you!

Hi there,
Sorry, no information for you only a question.  Does this census cover all of Ireland? It might be very helpful to me if it includes Co. Antrim. My Presbyterian ancestors left for Canada in 1826/7. I am now very hopeful that something might turn up.

1802 census of Protestants covers parishes of Ballyboggan, Ballyboy, Castlejordan, Clonmacnoise, Drumcillin, Eglish, Gallen, Killoughey, Lynally, Rynagh, Tullamore (all in Co.Offaly).
There are also fragments of 1821 census for Co. Offaly which survive.

There is nothing in 1802 for Co. Antrim.

I am so disappointed. I guess I am now on the wrong list but do you know if there is an 1821 for Co. Antrim?

I found an item in this titled 'Extracts from the Church of Ireland Parish
Registers of Ballyboy, King's County (Offaly), 1709-48 and 1797-1868' could any of these assist your search?

Peggy- 1821 was a government census for all of Ireland but only some fragments survive. There might be some Co. Antrim bits in Thrift Abstracts (National Libary, Dublin) or perhaps PRONI might have it microfilmed.

Just wondering if you were able to source the 1802 Census?  Is it online somewhere?  I have Googled it and can find no trace.
Thanks, Laura
