Is there anyone who lives in Bents, or Stoneyburn, or who knows these places well enough to answer a couple of questions for me please.?
My mother's 2 sisters were born at 39 Garden City Bents, and I am just curious to know a) if it is still standing b) what is the street like, are they small cottages, or terraced houses, or what?
My mother was born at The Rows, Stoneyburn. If this is a street, then I don't know the house number. a) Is it still standing? b) what is it like, is it cottages or houses? I'm wondering if they were miners cottages as my grandad worked in the coal mines in that area.
I would be so grateful if some kind person could offer me a description. Thank you.

That would be absolutely marvellous, but please don't go out of your way (especially if it is freeeeeezing outside), as you have given me a lot of help already. I am so grateful, this is a fantastic breakthrough for me!!
Best regards, Desert Girl
