Kerry RC parish records - have permissions been lifted ?? l

Can anyone advise if the permissions to access the parish record (RC)microfilms for Kerry at the NLI through the Bishop of Kerry have been lifted or is it still in place or a discretinary thing by the Library now??

No permission is needed to access the Kerry parish records available on microfilm at the National Library Dublin.
