  I'm looking for any reference to a Roger Benning of Little Kimble Bucks. His most likely birth would have been between 1810 and 1820. The only reference I have found was that he is listed as the father of my ggggrandmother Mary Benning on her marriage cert. Marys birth wasn't registered so a birth cert is out, Mary is 8 months old on the 1841 Census in Little Kimble and living with her grandparents until 1861 where I find her with an uncle. So at this point I cant find Roger and no mother as well.

There are no baptisms as you know on the IGI or Freereg for the children of Joseph and Judith BENNING.
But have found this info, sorry if you already have it ;

( seems correct as Judith Benning is born Quainton)

Parents Josh. BENNING and Sarah

Mother, Ann WARNER

There is a James Benning and family 2 doors down in the 1851 census, another son of Joseph and Judith I would think.They obviously had children from 1814-1835, but where their baptisms are Huh?



I can find nothing on ROGER BENNING Roll Eyes and in my opinion unless he is found and/or someone has to Parish Records I would say Elizabeth is the daughter of one of Joseph/Judiths girls. Possibly Sarah, aged 20 in 1841 Census.
