Marriage Look Up please?

Hi there

I'm searching on behalf of my 80 yr old mother for her parents details.  She was born in Castledermot & lived in Ballaghmoon.  Her father was a Thomas Morrissey (whose mother was Kate).  Her mother was Elizabeth (Lily) Jordan b.1901(who came from Co Tyrone).  I don't even know when they were married (sometime between 1917-1925).  Ideally I would like to locate their marriage cert but where would I look if I don't know the parish?  Eventually, I would like to trace Thomas Morrissey's birth cert.  Any guidance would be much appreciated!!

you can search the Irish Civil BMD index at the familysearch pilot site at http://www.rootschat.com/links/05ee/

the Civil registration District for Castledermot is Athy. If you find a possible match you can order a cert from the GRO - www.groireland.ie

Parish records (transcripts) are availabale on the IFHF website at www.irish-roots.ie - this is a pay site.

Your Thomas Morrissey was baptised on the 24th of May 1896 son of Michael Morrissey and Catherine Hickey.
The Hickeys are a very old Castledermot family unlike the Morrisseys.
