Stirlingshire mills (as in corn / wool)
« on: Friday 06 February 09 18:03 UTC (UK) »

Does anyone have any idea where I could find a history of mills in Stirlingshire?
I've had a look on the net but can't find a decent link.

The majority of my family in the 18th / 19th century were millers in the area.

Hi Dave,

And if you should happen to come across a history of Stirlingshire Masons while you are looking for Stirlingshire Millers, let me know!!

Incidentally (have I said this before?), I seem to recall that one of those Campsie MCLAWS people was Miller of Antermony.

Cheers,

JAP

Thanks Billy.
I haven't been to the Mitchell.  I was hoping to purchase but it makes sense to check the library.

Will keep an eye open JAP.
