Middlesex help
« on: Tuesday 07 July 09 21:29 UTC (UK) »

Hello all

I have two favours to ask of anybody who is willing to help Smiley

I just wonder if anybody can help me as Im not able to get to London very easily.
My 5xGrt Grandparents were married in Holy Trinity church Marylebone and I would love to know the details on the marriage. Their names were William Cox and Christiana Harriott, the year is only given and it was 1829.

Secondly my 5xGrt Grandmother Christiana Harriott was born c1807 in Tottenham Middlesex and I would love to find out who her parents were if it were possible.

Any help would be fantastic.

Hi Danny

Holy Trinity Marylebone parish registers will be deposited at the London Metropolitan Archives. The ancient parish church of Tottenham is All Hallows. Again the parish registers for this church will be deposited at the London Metropolitan Archives.

There are quite a few record offices in London so it helps to be specific which record office is needed for the look up.

Hello Danny...I see where you have done your research on Christiana and William Cox.  Hope we can do as well with her grandparent, Margaret Fraser nee Smith and Peter Pruden.
