Hi, trying to trace a relative, John Roberts b. 1840 in Wooburn, Bucks. Parents are Job and Sophia Roberts. Can find Job and Sophia on 1851 with John and 1881 census on their own, but can't find them on any other years and can't find John Roberts after 1851.
Anyone fancy having a look as its starting to do my head in ! thanks

You may already have this one: I looked to see whether it gave another clue as to where John might have said he was born

I didn't find any of them on the 1841 , I am sure that must be them, thank you. Were Ann and William down as their children ?
I don't know anything about John other than the info I got from 1851 census. I do keep coming across the John in Bledlow and wondered if it is the same person as my John, but there is a Bledlow in Bucks as I thought it might have been misread from Blewbury so not so sure now. The John Roberts in Bladon, Bucks not sure about and Bladon is in Oxfordshire.
Thanks for all your help, its keeping me going !!

I saw that one too, Yonder, but there is a John Roberts b. 1841 Bledlow on the 1851 census, father William
Molly - regarding the 1941 - no relationships are shown on that census
But the presence of Ann might explain the Holoway grand-daughter in 1861

It gets harder and harder, got Job's brothers John, James and William to sort out yet too !! They all seem to disappear suddenly on the census'
