1881 Thomas SIMMs publican The Wheat Sheaf grove Street
1891 Thomas SIMMS(transcribed on An...ry as SIMINO) Woodstock Arms Woodstock Rd

Many thanks and with the same name so I should be able to find something about it in the RO I will try to contact the present landlord to see if he/she has any history of it too many thanks. I wonder why Thomas moved between pubs in the same town though  Huh

What I should have said was I wonder what the pubs were like, how near were they and what type of clientel did they attract and so on I need to see if the RO has any records and fingers crossed photographs of the Wheatsheaf and Woodstock Arms at the time of Thomas SIMMS
