I am one of many descended from Josiah Stredder, born around 1700 and died 1775 in Colby.  In that area, there are Streeters and Streathers, but nearly everyone with a Stredder in their tree will be descended from his son, Josiah b. 1727 Baston, Lincs, settled in Folkingham, Lincolnshire where he died 18 April 1819. 

Josiah was a baker there and his bakery (now a teashop) is still standing:

Of his children and grandchildren, they moved around locally and mostly ended up in Liverpool or London from whence some went across the pond.
