G'day Travelbug mate, (how's that)? I have Regina at c1810 with same parents you write, did not have sibings, I have had mention of a sister. Regina died 1892 Bendigo, now here is the confused part that I have and has now been cleared, daught of George and Regina also has Regina in the name and born Ballarat. I have on the idex paper which is a copy from a book, "Henderson" names in Sth Aust, actual date of the book I don't know but at least 1910 with one of the entries in it, it has 4 George Henderson" as follows;
Henderson George b c1829-- this is not ours.
Henderson George arr; by 1842 Thebarton rel Rc, mRegina Maria ch: Theophily Chas (1842)
Henderson Geoge b c:1829 Mln Sct arr 1855, Blacksmith rel Pres.
Henderson George c1796 Wex Iri d:30-5-1867 Adelaide arr:1855 Telegraph occ: Piano Tuner, Labourer, res: Hindmarsh rel Prot unknown children, son and 2 daughters
It is this last entry that I have more detail on than others, I have been told by several others that George and Regina arrived with at leat 3 children, but looking at the other entry George and Regina have only one son.

Hi flogged,
As we have said before these entries are from the BISA. (Biographical Index of South Australian 1836-1886)
http://www.gould.com.au/Biographical-Index-of-South-Australians-1836-85-p/au5044.htm
The entries are partly of a submitted nature. Information does need to be verified. Someone has mixed up the Georges. There is an entry for your George but it has been intermingled wrongly with George from Wiltshire who arrived on the Telegraph. Your George arrived with 2 sons and 2 daughters which has been verified in the shipping records.....Kris

Hi flogged, I know George and Regina arrived Adelaide with 4 children; George b. 1832, (my ancestor) Regina Catherine, b. 1835, Arthur Louis b. 1837, and Constance b. 1838. At least the first 3 were baptised at St. James, Westminster. John Young was the first born in Adelaide, 1840; then Theophilus Charles 1842; Emma, 1844; Claude 1844; Francis Christian 1848; and Septimus 1851. I doubt that Claude and Emma were twins because I have had contact with Emma's descendant and she had never heard of Claude. So probably either Emma or Claude were born in 1846 as Regina seemed to have a child about every 2 years. Some of Theophilus' children went to W.A. for the gold mining. I got most of this information from a descendant in Perth.

Hi flogged, You have an interesting ancestry. I'm afraid the only photos I have are of my grandmother, George and Regina's granddaughter, and some of her siblings. The earliest I have is about 1902. She had an interesting life and I have written a mini biography with the help of cousins and 2nd cousins.

Flogged, I have just been given an old (over 100 yrs) photograph album. It may contain a photo of Regina at around 60 years of age. The back of the photo says "Possibly your father's mother". I've dated the photo - approx. 1870's - and the woman in it looks about the right age for Regina. If you are interested in seeing it, I hope to be able to access a scanner soon and send it to some rellies.
