Hi to both of you, Tony I have replied on a PM, so hope you got it, thank you again for letting me know, it also says the 1901 is due out at the end of 2009 - Chrissy present!
I have seen Lindel's site, thanks too for that but sadly none of mine seem to be on it -  Embarrassed
But thank you for letting me know I might not have known.
Kind regards

Ideas of where they were buried please?
« Reply #65 on: Friday 25 September 09 18:18 UTC (UK) »

Hello.  I am still trying to find out where some of my ancestors are buried and wondered if any Rootschatters had any ideas please?
Three of them died whilst living in Sheercloon.
One died whilst living in Cavan and I presume she moved there as the rest of her family had all gone.
They were Church of Ireland.
Their names and dates of death were:
William WhittEker - 77 - 29th October 1899 - Sheercloon
Martha WhittAker - 109 - 29th December 1911 - Sheercloon
William WhittAker - 78 - 26th May 1933 - Sheercloon - Informant a Andrew Railston of Cavan
Barbara WhittAker - 86 - 19th February 1941 - Cavan - Informant a Sarah Stevenson of Cavan

I know Barbara was in Sheercloon in 1899, 1901, 1911, 1912 - presuming until around 1933
I know William Jr. was in Sheercloon in 1901, 1911 and 1912 to prsumable 1933
and I know Martha was in Sheercloon in 1901 and 1911

I am hoping eventually to find their baptisms too, somewhere in Co Donegal.

If anyone  can help it would be great.  Many thanks

Civil registration of births, deaths and Catholic marriages began in 1864 (from 1845 for other marriages). There will be no civil certificates before these dates and you'll need to search for church records (if they exist).

This booklet gives lots of information on Donegal research which might help you understand what records do exist and how to find them-
