Ellen Naylor was born in 1832 in Preston Under Scar to James and Margaret (Peggy) Naylor. In the 1851 census she was a laundress at Bolton Hall in Preston. Around 1855 she married John WATSON. On an GRO wedding record, there is an Ellen Naylor marrying John DAYKIN on 19 APR 1856 at the Parish Church in Wensley. John Daykin's father is listed as John Watson?! Ellen and John Watson emigrated to the U.S.  Could it be that there was another Ellen Watson in the Wensley area? Ellen Naylor and her four sisters and one brother were the children of James and Margaret Naylor of Preston. Any insights you may be able to provide regarding this puzzle would be greatly appreciated.
