John Hipwell born c1811

Hi

I just wondered if anyone had this individual on their tree or had any information at all.


John Hipwell born c1811 (possibly Kettering, Northamptonshire) is my g.grandfather x3.

At some point he must have moved to St Helens, Lancashire and he married a Margaret Jackson.

They had children:     James, John, Sarah, Hannah, Ellen and Margaret.

Hannah is my g. grandmother x2.

I wondered if anyone had a John Hipwell on their tree that they know may have moved to St Helens.

Any information would be very much appreciated.

Hi

Just to say many thanks for your time and help.

I had the census entries for 1851 and 1861 but not 1841 which isn't surprising if the surname was being spelt hopewell.

For some reason I hadn't been able to find a date of marriage for him and Margaret so thank you for this.   I don't live too far from Rainford so I might be able to locate something in parish records.
