Wright Family
« on: Friday 20 February 09 12:06 GMT (UK) »

Hello

I''m looking for descendents from the Marriage of Herbert Henry Wright to Florence Ellen Austin in 1905 in Kettering.  Florence and Herbert  had two confirmed children Freda Wright and Horace Edwin Wright born in 1909.  (Other possible children being Raymond and Annie L Wright).  Horace Edwin Wright marries a Mabel Evelyn Capps and has 4 children - 3 males and 1 female born in 1930's and 40s.  I believe these children are still alive and living in the Kettering area.  However, they are not on the BT Website phone book.  However, 118 118 advises that they are listed as unregistered numbers with them.  I'm not sure how I can get in contact with these descendants given that I'm living in London.  Any suggestions?

Cheers

I am a decendent of Henry Wright.  I am the son of the daughter of Horace Edwin Wright and Mabel Evelyn Capps.  You are correct that there were 4 children.  The four boys still live in the Kettering area, but the daughter, my mother lives in South Dakota in the United States.  I, myself live in Nebraska in the United States.  My father has done a fair amount of research on my mothers family.  If you are looking for information I can direct him to you.

Sorry, I intended to say three boys in that last post not four.

Hello

Thank you for your reply.  I have recently been in touch with your mum and dad and your dad has provided me with a wealth of information.  Horace would have been my half uncle and hence your mum my half first cousin (we share the same grandmother - Florence Ellen Austin).  Your dad has sent through some photos of Florence which were fab as we had never seen her.  He is going to send me some other bits and pieces - but I'm leaving him in peace now as I believe he is recovering from an operation.  I've sent through to your mum and dad my Ancestry link - which I'm happy to send through to you as well if you're interested.

Cheers
