I think we may be related via Margaret Flett nee: Gaudie.  This is my info

   Born ca. 1847 at Bishopsgate St. London UK
Married  Margaret FLETT  who was born at Stromness Orkney, Scotland.
1881 census living at 9 Bakers Row, Whitechapel.  Occupation: cellerman  1891 census living at 10 Queen Street.  Occupation cellerman.  At his son George's birth his occupation was given as wine cellerman.  The family were living at 3 Grove Street, St, George's in the East.

this is my g. grandmother

DEERING, Margaret  wife     46     1845                          Scotland
DEERING, Walter J   son      14     1877      printers boy  Mile End London

My fathers name was Walter.
My Grandmother was Jane Ethel Derry & her mother was Jane Deering she also had a brother called Walter

Yes we are related, it looks as though your GGrandmother and my GGrandfather (Walter James) were brother and sister.

I have also solved the mystery of Agnes (see my previous post) recently too.
