Parlour family Bishopstone
« on: Saturday 21 February 09 11:59 UTC (UK) »

Help wanted please to find the birth of :-

Emma/Emily Alice  Parlour abt 1835 in Herefordshire..parents believed to be James Parlour and Ann.

Place of birth has been entered as Bishopstone, Dilwyn, Hereford Town and Blakemere over the years, but cannot find a birth record.

No entry for her or her parents in 1841 or 1851 either.

Her siblings are in the household of Henry and Martha Williams 1786 in Bishopstone in 1841.

I have a theory that Emma is in the household of Edward and Ann Vaughan in 1841 and 1851 and that maybe Ann Vaughan was formerly Ann Parlour, but cannot confirm/eliminate this idea.
When Emma married in 1855 as Emma Parlour,  she put Edward Vaughan as her father.

I am well and truly stuck!

If it is any help, there is a marriage on the IGI for James Parlour to Ann Farrington on 4 Apr 1825 at Bishopstone.
