I have two Snape families living next door to each other in Adlington Road, Bollington in 1871:
John Snape 51 Bollington, Cheshire, England Head Bollington Cheshire
Jane Snape 52 Chilcome, Derbyshire, England Wife Bollington Cheshire
Paul Snape 18 Bollington, Cheshire, England Son Bollington Cheshire
Jane Elizth Snape 15 Bollington, Cheshire, England Daughter Bollington Cheshire
Rowland Henry Snape 12 Bollington, Cheshire, England Son Bollington Cheshire
John is my ggg granddad
James Snape 48 Bollington, Cheshire, England Head Bollington Cheshire
Sarah Snape 44 Styall, Cheshire, England Wife Bollington Cheshire
Sarah Ann Snape 22 Bollington, Cheshire, England Daughter Bollington Cheshire

I would appreciate any information in any census prior to 1871, I suspect they are related but have not as yet found a link.
I would be most grateful for any help with this.

There are so many Snape families in Bollington that it would take forever to sort out who belonged where 
So what I have done is found John in 1851 then gone back to 1841.
1841 HO107-104-08-F 8 Water Street Bollington
Ann Snape 60 Born in county
John 22 cotton spinner ~ ~
Jane 22 john's wife ?? Not born in county
James 18 cotton spinner Born in county
1851 HO107-2158-F 409 Bollington Road Bollington
John Snape 31 head cotton spinner born Bollington
Jane ~ 32 wife ~ ~ ~ Derbyshire
Wood D ~ 8 son Bollington
John P ~ 3 ~ ~
Ann M ~ 1 ~
Ann Snape 69 mother widow ~

Thanks for your efforts, your lookup has given me lot to work on. I knew there were a few Snapes about but I didn't realise they were quite so prolific!
