Hi,

Anyone with any further information on William Lane, born abt 1807. He was lsited as a labourer in Ramsbury, Wiltshire in the 1841 census with a wife called Mary.

They had 7 children.

Sarah born 1827 in Ramsbury

Tom born in 1829 in Ramsbury. He died in 1900 in South Australia

Elizabeth born in 1831 in Ramsbury

Richard born in 1833 in Ramsbury. Married Lydia Winfield in Adelaide, South Australia in 1860. Died 1923 in South Australia

Margaret born in 1835 in Ramsbury. Married Samuel Adams in Adelaide in 1891. Died 1913 in South Australia

Jabez born in 1838 in Ramsbury. Died 1838 in Ramsbury

Rhoda born in 1841 in Ramsbury. Married William Norton in Adelaide in 1861. Died 1929 in South Australia

William, his wife Mary and Richard, Tom, Margaret and Rhoda came to Australia on the ship Florentia in 1849.
