Daniel Levell Rede Suffolk
« on: Friday 11 February 05 20:25 UTC (UK) »

Hi,
I am looking for any information about a Daniel levell (born 1778) married to Maria (born 1782). They had children Richard (1804) and Mary (1806) born at Rede Suffolk. I am very interested  to see if they had any other children especially a son John  born 1803 in Essex.  Any help would be great, I have been through IGI batches with no luck and wondered if anyone had any suggestions?

Thanks Jon

Hi Jon

Hope this is correct as I'm not sure if this is your John Levell or not, but I have found a John Levell born about 1803/1805 and have the following information:

Born 1803
Died Sept 1881
Age 78
Volume 48
Page 304
District Risbridge

However on the 1871 census his wife is listed as Ann who was 70 and his son as George aged 28
however in 1881 he is a lodger at 17 Chapell Road and listed as a widower, considering the census was taken earlier in the year it is possible he died soon after it was taken, on both he is listed as a gardner.

Hope this helps if it is the wrong one sorry for  but it's all I can find.

Good hunting
