Hi, do you have a Susan Ann Gillard b27-11-1885, South Tawton marrying a PIKE, thats all the details i have unfortunately, sorry. Gillard is the name im searching and received a tree from Australia and they have above details on their tree, they dont know the first name of the PIKE gentleman, looking at the tree, it looks like they had 2 boys, Jim + Ern......they tended to use slang words on the tree so im guessing the boys names would be....James + Ernest. Hope to hear from you soon, even if its to say NO you dont have these in your tree.
Thank you, CAZ

My Grandmother was a Pike in Frome before she married my Grandad. She was Gladys Evelyn Pike born 15 Aug 1903 and died 21 Aug 1996. She had three brothers Arthur, Jack and Owen and one sister Vera. Her father was Walter Pike a carpenter. I haven't yet gone any further back as I'm just starting this branch of the family. I don't know if this is of any interest or relevance. Sue

Hi,
I found these children on the IGI,
Sarah PIKE Christening: 24 FEB 1820
Charles PIKE Christening: 17 MAY 1823
John PIKE Christening: 24 DEC 1825
Holy Trinity, Frome, Somerset Father: Charles PIKE Mother: Dinah
I also found the above children and Elisha and Fanny at freereg,
http://freereg.rootsweb.com/cgi/Search.pl
I also found this marriage on the freereg site,
Charles PIKE Dinnis BROWNING Marriage Date: 16 Aug 1819 Church: St John, Frome, Somerset Register Number: 680 Witnesses: Wm PIKE & Wm CHUBB
Maybe someone can look at the original to see if Dinnis could be Dinah
Regards Daisy
