Hi,
I'm trying to track Michael Davison born June 1860 at Shildon, Durham, the son of William & Elizabeth Davison. In 1871 he was age was given as 12 & living with his family at East Thickley, Auckland. In 1881, aged 21, he was living as a boarder in Middlesborough, & working for N.E. Railway. Ancestry indicates he may have been back in Durham in 1891, but although I cannot find a FreeBMD death (all quarters are not complete in the 1880's) I can't find him in the 1901 at all, so a 1891 search would be appreciated.

Hi Bob
The Thomas that Notlef has found might be a good candidate for Michael - do you know if he has any second name?
The Thomas in 1891 is a brassmoulder in an engineworks.
cheers
Paul

Paul,
No second name, and positively (hopefully) identified in 1881 working as clerk for railway co., & living in Middlesborough.
Just a hint on Ancestry of a Michael Davison born 1860 appearing on 1891 census in Durham.
Bob.

Hi,
When you say a 'hint', what do you mean ? I did a search in the 1891 for all Davisons age 30,31 & 32 and didn't find any Michael's born in Durham.
What did you search on ?
Regards
Richard.

Hi Paul,
Is it me, or has the image facility been taken away, cause I wanted to show you the hint of an 1891 census entry, but I can't see how either here or in PM.
