Hi Bigjon, a couple of things you could try, firstly contact your local authority and see if they have a burial index for their cemeteries, as you know her name and date of death it should make things easier. Failing that, you could look on a map of the area she lived in, find the nearest cemetery to her address and contact them, by giving them her details they'll be able to look up on the burial records for that cemetery / crem. Hope thats a bit of help. Good Luck. benn.

Mansfield Road, Sherwood is in the city, north of the centre. Likely cemetaries for city residents in recent times include Southern Cemetary (and crematorium) at Wilford Hill, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, Notts. and Northern Cemetary, Bulwell, Nottingham. There is also a crematorium at Coventry Lane, Bramcote, a few miles west of the city.
Sherwood.

You might be lucky and find there are details of her death ,and funeral, in the Nottingham Evening post (or another local newspaper). That will narrow down the search for the grave. Copies are kept in the Local Studies Library on Angel Row, bigjon.

If she happens to be buried in the cemetery on Loughborough Road in West Bridgford, let me know. I can go there and take pics for you
