Dear Oly sorry I didn't get straight back to thank you for the information you posted, (ripping out carpet so have just got back online) its a huge help. Was this info from the Rafferty on the Thornaby Cemetery War Memorial? I thought that (on the Memorial) he was a 'T' Rafferty? ... The John Rafferty you have provided info for was (I think) either 'T' Raffertys Son or Brother ... all these Raffertys lol! If you can point me in the right direction of how to obtain info about Thornaby WW1 fallen (I have one Thomas and two John Raffertys who died between 1915 - nov. 1917) I would be really gratefull. Thanks for your help Oly, appreciate it best Wishes Helga

Hi nanawilk - just caught up with the info you sent on the Garbutts - am sitting in Redcar library - having been away from home for seven weeks now. Data on the Garbutt family most appreciated.
Regards Margaret

Hi Bryan
Sorry, no Augustus or Elizabeth Lewis. The only LEWIS's in the MIs are Charles and Isabella, both died in 1893, plus three McKINNON grandchildren. I can give you details of these if they are of any interest
Cheers Gina
