lawton 1803? Cheshire
« on: Monday 14 February 05 16:08 GMT (UK) »

I am looking for a Joseph Lawton born circa 1803? somewhere in Cheshire. On the 1851 Census he is in Regent Road Eccles Barton Upon Irwell. Apparently is place of birth was Handforth? Somebody else says it is Groves? Grover? or even Glover and could have the word End added on. This is driving me mad....Has anyone heard of these areas? I know of handforth but not the others....many thanks

Hi
It could be Hazel Grove/Bosden they are all in the same area,
as far as I am aware there is nothing with an End on it !
