Hi

Having recently been in touch with St Nicholas Church in Islip, I have just learnt that I am related to William Norris & Sarah Ash. My Grandmother was born in Islip her Great Grandfather was William (1764 Woodeaton).

Having googled on the offchance that there might be some further information to pursue, I came directly to this website. (great site btw!!)

Has anyone managed to go back past William and Sarah ?

Where should I look next?

All help gratefully recieved

Hi Lesanne

Thanks for the response.

It looks like several similar possibilities exist. The family moved around the immediate area and I guess cover several of the 9 church parishes in what I am now told is the Ray Valley Benefice.
