Hi girls

Re; William Norris = Elizabeth Matthews

In 1851 they are still in St Peters in the East, Merton street.

William Norris 49, receive house rent and interest of money, b St Peter in the east
Elizabeth wife 47 b South Cerney, Glos
William 19
James 17 college servant
Thomas 11
Sarah 15
all born St P in the E

I was just wondering how close St P in the E is to Islip ...as all the other children of William Norris and Sarah Ash stste Islip as POB.

1881 ...transcribed as Elizabeth MORRIS , nurse, 45 , still working for Hood peeps.

1891 ... Elizabeth is still with the Hoods but has been promoted to Lady's maid . (Henry S Hood also seems to have done well ...retired assist. Accountant, Gen. of the army)  Cheesy

By 1901 they have all moved to Hampshire. Poor old Harry Hood is blind and widowed and Elizabeth is lady's maid to the daughter.
