Hi
As I said I think the St Maries is St Mary the Virgin Oxford in the transcripts I have (OFHS) the baptisms start in 1599, but the first Norris (and varients) baptism I could find there was 1769 Mary bb d/o Sarah, there are no more then until 1804
The first Norris marriage there is 1759 Thomas Hynes bach of Iffley to Anne Norris sp of Littlemore by Lic wit Elizabeth Strange, Jos Craddock
There is an odd burial in 1620 of a John Morris or Norris of Braesnose College, then nothing until 1736 when there is an Elizabeth Nourse, 1738 Edward Nurse, 1739 Elizabeth Nurse
That is all I can see in St Mary the Virgin for the time period we are looking at.
For Iffley the baptisms start 1572
There are some very early ones in the 1580s for the surname Nurse. The only other one is the John Norris in 1708 that I mentioned above, they finish 1900
In Sandford there are just the 3 baptisms you already have no marriages and no burials
I will have a look at the maps and see if I have anything else I can check

Hi Les
Sorry I don't have registers for Woodstock.
The first Henry & Elizabeth did not marry at Iffley - I have given you all the Norris entires from Iffley up to 1770 Baptisms, Marriages and Burials. I can't see a marriage for them in the Oxford MI either.
Yes Brightwell Bald does have registers I have some transcripts - but they are quite hard to read - I didn't see anything obvious, but I will have another go. I think Dorothy must have died though cos the baptism of John which is the only Norris baptism at Iffley is to Henry & Mary - but I can't see the marriage for them either
One thing that's twice the name Smith has cropped up, as it is possible that Sarah Acerman married John Smith of Islip - I know it is a very common name but I found this bit in the history of Littlemore
........................................................................ A small group of Roman Catholics at Littlemore survived at least until the early 18th century. The Kimbers of 'St. George's' (fn. 230) were the most notable. A Jesuit priest of that name was born in the county in 1688, and in 1715 Thomas Kimber, who held property in Holywell and Littlemore worth £47, was listed as a non-juror. (fn. 231) In 1694 Ann Day, Ann Smith, and John Littlemore were presented as recusants, and Travers Smith in 1697

..................................................................................
I just wondered if that might explain some of the missing baptisms & marriages
