Hi Les One thing that's twice the name Smith has cropped up, as it is possible that Sarah Acerman married John Smith of Islip - I know it is a very common name but I found this bit in the history of Littlemore ........................................................................ A small group of Roman Catholics at Littlemore survived at least until the early 18th century. The Kimbers of 'St. George's' (fn. 230) were the most notable. A Jesuit priest of that name was born in the county in 1688, and in 1715 Thomas Kimber, who held property in Holywell and Littlemore worth £47, was listed as a non-juror.
