Brenda, Maybe you have already added these names to the My Surname Interets the link to which is at the bottom of this web page... if you haven't that is a good way to go as it stays there until you remove it.
Just a suggestion.

I hadn't noticed that link Charlotte, thanks for pointing it out. I'll hop on over at lunchtime (US lunchtime that is!) and add my names to the list.

Hello Keith I think half of my husbands family came from Swaffham Bulbeck! I'm probably going to have to get the Parish Records on cd from the Cambridgeshire FHS, it's going to be very helpful.
Mt first Livett in the village is John, bn 1797 d1879, he married Elizabeth Skeel and they had 9 children, I've traced some marriages etc for his children but he's my starting point. You can also send me a message or an email if you'd like to swap info, or just reply here.
Regards, Brenda

Hello Redroger My main Hancock line is an Elizabeth Hancock, bn in 1797 in Swaffham Bulbeck. I have her parents listed as Benjamin Hancock and Hannh Adams, I don't know yet if they had any other children or if they were from SB or elsewhere, but I'm just about to order the PR for the village as I have a lot of people to track down in this area, and that may tell me a different story to what I believe! I have a number of families from the area (SB, Bottisham, Horningsea, Lode and Stow cum Quy) who seem to move between these local villages every couple of generations, so I'm hoping the PR will help out.
Have you come across a Benjamin Hancock at all in your research?
Regards, Brenda

Hello Ben Just how many ways are you related to my husband???!! Is your Benjamin Hancock in your Golding or Noble tree that you sent me, or is this another, separate line?

Hello Ben Just how many ways are you related to my husband???!! Is your Benjamin Hancock in your Golding or Noble tree that you sent me, or is this another, separate line? Brenda I'm sure there are plenty of other ways I am related to your husband as I have Butlers as well! This is on the Golding side of the family. Martha Hancocks granddaughter was Sarah Fordham,b 1844 in Quy, married Alfred Golding. Alfred and Sarah Golding are my GGG Grandparents and they are on the list of Goldings I sent you. How is your husband related to the Hancocks?
Regards
Ben

Hello Roger Yes it's certainly fun, looks like the entire villages were related in some way. I saw your earlier posts re Rice Golding from Bottisham but they're not on my tree.... yet! They might be on Ben's though.... if you do turn out to be related to my husband then you're probably also related to Ben too!
I didn't see a link in any of your posts about the Hancocks? Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place.

Hello Ben My husband has a direct link to the Hancocks. Elizabeth Hancock, bn c1797, to Benjamin in SB married John Howard in SB on 3 Dec 1818. John became the publican of The Royal Oak in SB, now a private house. The Howards then married into the Livetts, the Livetts then married into the Butlers all in SB. I think the Butlers were originally from Bottisham by way of Horningsea.
