can do with some help my GG grandfather and GG grandmother were married in 1856 in Rathdownd
Redistration district Dublin or Wicklow His name was Denis Williams born 1830d her name was Mary
Behan born 1834 would love to learn more about them Denis was also know as Dionysus Williams
marrage roll numbers film number 101246 volume 9 page 621 digital gs numb419892 image 00020
where do i find these details this is my first post hope i dint sound a fool

the details you mention look like the Civil index references from the familysearch pilot site. You can order a research cert by post from the GRO using these - see : www.groireland.ie

the details they require are :

 Name : Denis Williams
 record type : marriage
 year/quarter : 1856
 registration district :  Rathdown
 volume : 9
 page number : 621

the other details are used by familysearch/LDS and are not required by the GRO.
 
Latin was used in many parish records and I believe that Dionysus is the latin version of Denis.

edit : The registration district of Rathdown covers a large area of South Co. Dublin with part in north Co. Wicklow. It extends roughly from Roebuck, just south of the Dublin City limits, to the coast at Booterstown, down the coast to Greystones, Co. Wicklow, and extends inland to Kilmacanoge, Callary and up to Powerscourt, Enniskerry and north to about Dundrum and Taney.
