William Stevenson  bc 1818

His Second Marriage Cert 23rd June 1866 @ Baptist Chapel Southampton

William aged 48  a Widower  occup Ironmonger  Father also William a Flax Dresser
Jane Taylor Russell(Rufsell) age 38 A Widow  occup Milliner Father Thomas Hescroff a Shipping Agent

Both give address as 42 St Mary's Street Southampton

Hoping 1841 1851 Census will give information of first marriage and family

No I don't have him on any  Census

His son William born 1869 Mother Jane Taylor Russell was born Southampton but Married in West Ham.  I know that means nothing really.

Well, Jane was born in 1830 in Poole, Dorset;  in 1861 she is living in Southampton with her first husband, John Russell, as Master Mariner.

Which is no help at all, I know  Grin

Wonder if William was dead by 1871, but that still doesnt account for Jane not being with the boys does it?

Looked for s death on BMD and found this one March qtr 1871 aged 52 Southampton 2c 11.  Think I may send for that it may open a few doors, well thats what I hope anyway.
