hi Cheesy
i'm looking for Alfred Mecklenburgh in the1881 census. he was born in 1848 in Suffolk and is proving very elusive! any help appreciated!  Huh

1881 Alfred Micklenbergh, Burnt Oak Kings Head Inn, Capel St Mary, East Bergholt, Suffolk, England. He was a Coal Merchant aged 30. Living with father, Samuel, widow, 65 yrs, and Rhoda Rendel, housekeeper

Hi, again,
Didn't finish as lost connection. Have now looked at the certificate and Samuel [ the name is Mecklenburgh but it was lost in translation, if you know what I mean!] ] was Head of the family, the innkeeper and born East Bergholt, Suffolk.
