1889 map of London showing the socioecomonic status of each street
« on: Monday 02 March 09 08:57 UTC (UK) »

Hi,
Found this fantastic zoomable map of London in 1889. It has a colour code showing the socio economic status of each street, which is useful if you know where your family lived at the time.

Again hoping this doesn't breach any rules.

Hi

You're right, the Booth version is great as it has a much larger area and incorporates the street my family lived in in Blackheath!

Thanks Spring, I'll keep that in mind if I have any others.

Fran,

Thought that you might like to take a look at the site anyway!

http://archivemaps.com/mapco/store/store.htm

Click on a tab at the top

If you hover over the thumbnail, it will show the area, then you can click and produce a large map to expand.

Have fun!!
