if you are saying swedish then the town of west hartlepool did have a swedish church until the mid 1960's. no church records available.

i sent a private message informing enquirer to telephone hartlepool stranton cemetery office to ask if they had a listing for his death.

he may only have been a shop manager!!

I have found on the 1901 Census a Gustave Sandin. He was on the vessel S.S. OAKLANDS, as a seaman, which was bound for Hartlepool from the Mersey River, Toxteth Park, Lancashire.

An unexpected piece of information, this starts to establish his connection with Hartlepool and his meeting up with a local girl Isabella whose father worked at the docks.

I have not found his death yet, if anyone can help
