I have so much trouble with Kent.

I believe the parents of Stephen Marshall (born 8 May 1812, Snargate) to be George Marshall and Harriet Lee. But I have been unable to find any details about George or Harriet. Does anyone have access to Snargate's PR's to see if there's anything there that could help?

I've got Snargate Marriages 1552-1812, there's nothing for George Marshall & Harriet Lee.

Snargate PRs are held in Folkestone Library, I've got to visit there for my own family history, so I'll have a look for you.
Hopefully it will be this week.

I have them in my records.
Warehorne
George Marshall m Harriet Lee 14/2/1804 b o t p

I have Marshalls of Warehorne in my family but have no record of a Stephen born to these two in Warehorn although there may be a Harriet.

Do you still need a lookup in the Snargate PRs for any extra info on the baptism of Stephen Marshall?
I didn't have time to look as promised last time I was in the library (Snargate PRs are on several reels of film) but I hope to visit the library next week.

Oh please Betty, I just need to confirm I've got the right parents. I find Kent more difficult than anywhere. Don't know why. I don't visit very often these days (all family there now dead) and doing it long-distance is so awkward!!!

5th July 1812
Stephen son of George & Harriot MARSHALL was baptised in the church.
