I have been given quite a deal of info on the Sturman family line, they originated from the Gillingham area of Norfolk. 

I will start with Edward Sturman, Brn 1823; Gillingham  He was possibly living with a common Law partner named Mary Ann Black: brn 1829 in Heckingham.  It is one of their children I am interested in following through on. Charlotte Lousia Sturma, brn 1866 in Aledby Norfolk. Charlotte went on to become the 2nd wife of a Samuel Knights, brn 1851, Hales Norfolk. They were married around 1891 in Lound Suffolklisted there in the 1901 census.

One of their children Mildred Knights, could well be my Grandmother, any details on Charlotte and Mildred, would help me through the brick wall and decide which of the two (one in Norfolk) Mildred Knights I have, is my relation.

If this is the correct Mildred, she went on to give birth to my mother in Gt Yarmouth in 1917, and hand her on to her mother (charlotte) to raise in or around the Garvestone area.
