Enniscorthy town seems to be split into two baronies - see the townland database :  www.seanruad.com

and the town is in the parish of Enniscorthy, see the Irish Times site for Parish Map : http://www.rootschat.com/links/05qi/

The microfilm for the Catholic parish is ref Pos. 4249 and is available at the National Library : www.nli.ie

Hi seanmac

Thank you so much for the information about Mary Mc Goldrick.  In 1907 she married my grandfather Patrick Mahon.  My grandfather was based in the R.I.C Barracks Wexford  from 1900-1905 then he was moved to Belfast and that is where they got married.  In the 1911 census for Antrim Patrick is there with 2 of the children but Mary was not there with the other 2 children ? Its a bit of a mystery as the first child was born in 1905 nearly 2 years before they married.  Patrick being in the R.I.C would have had to do 7 years service before he could marry so that would mean that he could not get married until 1907. and thats the reason my grandfather never put mary and the first child on the 1911 census   My grandfather had a brother James Mahon.  He was also in the R.I.C thats who Mary must have gone to stay with on the night of the census.
Once again thank you so much for your help

Regards Manus
