Vance, Drumlish, Dromore

Trying to trace my maternal ancestors in N. Ireland. I have managed to get back to a John Vance who according to Griffiths Valuation 1848-1864 owned land in Drumlish, Dromore, Co. Tyrone. He had a son John Vance who married Maria Stewart on 02 April 1866.
I am struggling to get any further with John and would value any info anyone may be able to offer. The son's marriage record doesn't list his mother, which is a pity and i can find no record of the original John's birth or marriage.

Any info anyone may have would be greatfully received.

Hi,
    Are you aware of a Vance Marriage in 1853 of a James Turkington to Catherine Vance in the Cookstown area. This is in my recently deceased brother-in-laws family and as a tribute my wife has traced his family back to about 1750 on behalf of his children?
