Gilman Family

Has anyone come across Gilman or Gillman family in Waterford.  They lived in Clonmel and Carrick-on-Suir mostly, but I ahve heard that some of them lived in Waterford.

I had a look at various Waterford Street and Trade Directories and none are listed as living in Waterford.

They came to Carrick-on-Suir in the mid-1800's and I believe that some of them lived on the Waterford side (Carrick-Beg). They were shoemakers.  Does this ring a bell with anyone.
