we are in search of margaret (maggie) williams parents she was born 1916 in april. she married albert jackson in old colwyn and lived in eglyws bach till her death in 1985. any help would go along way

There are 2 Margaret Williams on FreeBMD births for April 1916.

Births Jun Quarter 1916   
Williams    Margaret    [Mother's maiden name Jones]    Bangor    11b   753    
Williams    Margaret    [Mother's maiden name Owens]    Holyhead    11b   852

If you have some idea where in Angelsey she was born you can search on http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl  and get the above info. Click on the registration district of Bangor or Holyhead  to list the areas covered.

Wedding certs aren't listed much after about 1925 on this site yet.

You can order online at http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/ cost £7 each

As it is after the census, if you have the wedding cert you can find the father's name or a pay site such as http://www.findmypast.com/home may help.
