BLAXHALL ARCHIVE GROUP - 100 GEORGE EWART EVANS
A Celebration at Blaxhall, Suffolk
24,25 & 26 July 2009

We would like to make you aware of an event we intend to host in Blaxhall next year – it is in celebration of George Ewart Evans’ 100th birthday and we are proposing a programme of talks (on the Spoken Word), workshops, folk music and dancing, films and exhibitions celebrating Suffolk local history.
A mix of events, that we hope are, of interest to the serious scholar, the local history enthusiast and the general public. Over the long weekend we hope to attract a large number of people to the event and it also to be featured in television, radio and local newspaper.
