Hi folks,does anyone have any info on John Hill 1805 Kidderminster? His first wife was Elizabeth Willis?? They had 2 daughters Phoebe and Susanna.Elizabeth died and John re-married Mary Jones? Kimberlin?11/8/1837 Who were his parents?? Thanks to June Skelton for this info,but still at a brick wall. Thanks Maggie

On http://www.familysearch.org/eng/default.asp there is a John Hill b 12 MAR 1805 Chr 27 DEC 1805 Kidderminster, Worcester, son of John & Rachel Hill, which could be yours.

Thank you so much,Wendy.I've been going through the Familysearch records but without success.Just goes to prove what another pair of eyes can find!! This info is for my cousin in California who is related to the Hill/Beech/Kimberlin line.Her mother told her that there is a direct line from Phoebe Hill(John's (1805) daughter) and Sir Roland Hill 1795 the founder of the Postal Service in England. If you or anyone can find out what relationship is between John Hill 1805 and Sir Roland Hill 1795,you will make two people very happy!! In the meantime,we'll keep searching.Maggie

I put in the name date and country. Pressed search. Scrolled down to INTERNATIONAL GENEALOGICAL INDEX then refined by entering Worcester and up he popped as 1 of 2.
There are also sisters & brother to John that I found.
