3 Queen St. Boston Lincs 1901 census
« on: Monday 09 March 09 15:51 UTC (UK) »

Can anyone help solve a mystery please? Richard Luffman aged 75 died at this address on 28th July 1903. His regular address in the 1901 census was 37 Duke St. Boston. Approx 400 yards away. The informant of the death was George Walmsley Nephew 35 Duke St. All very plain and simple except why was he living (or dying) at 3 Queen St. Who lived there in the 1901 census, and what was the family living at 35 Duke St?

The Arnall entry means nothing to me, presumably they took in people who were of advanced years and needed help, he was likely a work colleague of Richard.George Walmsley b c1866 Burgh le Marsh is more interesting, as in 1853 Richard had married Elizabeth Bierley (1823 -1894)at Burgh, but birthplace unknown. Was she born at Orby (or Irby) and was Jane (bc1826) her younger sister?
