Annie E G Hill (1/4/1885 - 30/8/1939) - married Frederick Harry Searle.  Had 4 sons and 1 daughter.
Thomas Hill - Had 2 sons.
Ethel Hill (d 3/8/1965) - married Joseph William Hughes
Samuel Hill - married Kate Thomas, then Faith.  Had 1 daughter.
Kate Hill - married Albert Hughes. Had 1 son and 1 daughter.
Roland Hill - married thrice (once to Gladys). Had 1 son and 1 daughter.
Nellie Hill - married Richard Papworth.  Had 5 sons and 2 daughters.
Jack Hill - married Nellie Dormer.  Had 1 daughter.

I have some of the names of some of the sons and daughters described above.

Wow - had some of this info but you have filled in some gaps. Could you let me know what the children were called too? Thanks!

I have never heard any of the stories about the mystery Eyles name - let's try and track that one down!

I have a copy of a photo of Sam and Sarah that I got from a descendent of Dick Papworth and Nellie Hill - if you send me your email on personal message then I can forward them on to you - if you're interested?

Bingo! Cheesy

September 1/4 1882 - marriage of Annie WALKER to William Henry EYLES ( found on FreeBMD )

So the link was Sarah's older sister - not Sarah herself.

Hello all,

I just thought I'd introduce myself.  My name is Alison Hill, and Samuel Hill was my great grandfather's brother.  My great grandfather was Thomas, who married Ann Williams.

I would love to hear more family history if you have any - and also a copy of Samuel's photgraph if it is still doing the rounds.

I have wuite a lot of information about the Hill family, and am still finding our more all the time.

Would love to hear from you.

If you personal message me your email address then I can email you some of the things I have about the Hill/Walker clan.

Always good to hear from another member of the family!
