I can't seem to find information on Dennis Myron, the father of Lawrence Myron, who went to New York, USA from Ireland, sometime before 1860.
Dennis was married to Mary Whalen (not sure of the spelling) of Tipperary, born about 1793. Lawrence Myron was born about 1831 and married Margaret (or Margarita) Maher (?), born about 1829.
Anyone hear of them?

I didn't have the dates that they have.
I still wish that I could find the homesite of the Myron's in Ireland.

I only know that family records and cencus records show them as born in Ireland, but not where.
I do not have proper knowledge of how to find out.

Some U.S. death certificates (depending on state and period) ask for birthdate and place, names of parents, etc. So it would be worth checking all U.S, sources for any clues (also birth certificates of any children of Dennis and Mary's born in U.S., etc.)

My Granddad was Hubert Myron, the grandson of Lawrence Myron of Ireland.

I'm Myrons though not Myron. My grandad was called Michael Myrons and came from somewhere in ireland, not sure where. My mum passed away a year ago and she had traced the family tree and knew everything. My grandma is still alive so i could ask her.

I wonder if there could be any connection?
It seems that the name Myron is hard to find in Ireland, is it just as hard to find Myrons?
